Fin-GPT Application and Financial Reporting of Public Organizations in Osun State, Nigeria
This study examined the transformative impact of Fin-GPT, a big language model, on improving public organizations' financial reporting in Nigeria's Osun State. 150 financial analysts, public accountants, and ICT specialists who had firsthand experience with Fin-GPT were sampled for this study, which used a quantitative research design and a survey method to collect primary data. Descriptive, regression, and correlation studies of the data showed that the financial reporting of public organizations could be greatly improved by accurate and trustworthy data and fewer errors, while time reduction had a favorable but smaller impact. The study concluded that the Fin-GPT application significantly improves precision and decreases errors in financial reporting for all Osun State public enterprises. To increase the accuracy of their financial reports, the study suggested that Nigeria's public sector concentrate on improving Fin-GPT's algorithms.
